It is doable, but the Interceptor and civilian CV/GM use totally different main body harnesses if you want the factory keyless entry. Years ago, we converted my nephew's 98 CVPI to most of the MM stuff (interior, center console, etc) but it entailed changing the main harness (just talked him into buying a blue MM anyway). You really need a donor car, and it has to be one (99-2000) without the auto temp control AC, but have keyless. The dash, steering column and all the door panels have to come off to install the new harness (I think its a 14401 harness). It is one complete harness from the across the dash to inside of all the doors.
In short, better off with an alarm that opens the doors. A while back, Ford used to sell a wireless keypad for the door that glued on. It was really another keyless entry FOB that worked by inputing the code. Looked cool. Don't even know if these are still available.

Yea, if you want to do it just buy a stick on one from the dealer. Works great.

thanks `that kinda answers my question, but I should have put in a little more info I have already harvested all four doors from my marauder wreck and put them on to the interceptor (no keyless originally) but marauder doors have the key pad on the door, did'nt want a hole in the door. I used the original 99 door harness and stripped the seat switch /harness keypad & harness and door module and harness and pulled it through the door and up under the dash. so by looking at the schmatic there seems to only be a few circuits thest I need to hook up to the LCM, int light feed, hot , hot in run, ground, and I think brake light output (I think it must be for programming the remotes) from what you know about doing this on the 98 would you agree this could work? thanks again.
