Take a picture of something that looks like time has stopped, but it must be an item that isn't moving. For my photo I choose a record player in the middle of the song. The reason being when the needle is in the middle the record should be playing and whenever I look at one stuck in the middle it looks like time has stopped.

The only rule I can think of is no clocks or watches.

What can you think of?

I'm not on anything. Like I said, if I was given something I would flush it or sell it.

Bob, what do you have? I know you have some photo!

Fine. Wifey hot rodding my car last summer, even though it wasn't actually moving...

Well you see that works if her hand is on the shifter. Seriously.

Kinda cool.

Try taking a photo of a ceiling fan when it is on. It will look like it is not on.

It's all in the shutter speed. Slower shutter speed shows motion. Faster shutter speed stops motion.

This thread made me laugh because it reminded me of a Cheech Wizard strip back in the day. Cheech was being ragged on by Razzberry, his apprenctice, that he never did any magic and Razzberry demanded he do some wizardry. Cheech says he can make time stop. Razzberry doubts this, to which Cheeck delivers a swift kick to the groin. As Razzberry rolls around on the ground, Cheech says "Notice how time has slowed down to a standstill, seconds feel like minutes, minutes feel like hours..."

This reminds me of the viewing tool that we use on RC helicopters to determine rotor speed. You just keep adjusting while it's idling on the ground or when someone keeps the bird steady at hover RPM's untill the blades come to a blured stand still in the site glass, press the capture button, and it's computes rotor speeds to determine tuning.

I didn't know you were into RC Bob,I had a couple BIG RC gasoline powered boats, one 57" long and messed around with nitro and electric RC cars and trucks for a few years.
BTW,a timing light(or strobe) has the same effect as making it appear time has stopped.
