cobra manifolds

i have new in box a pair of cobra/ mach 1 exhaust manifolds. i bought them to put on the marauder, but somehow my wife said i could get the long tubes instead. first 225 gets them plus 25 shipping. if you need pics let me know. i paid 300 for the pair.

Are these the OEM manifolds?

yes oem cobra/ mach 1 manifolds the part numbers are 3r3z-9430-ba for the passenger side and 3r3z-9431-ba for driver side.

I think rayjay has them installed on his car, IIRC, he didn't notice a big difference in performance after the install, but I'll let him clarify that.

they are the same manifolds that dennis uses in his kit just not media blasted and thermal coated.

Why do you think the Mustang guys take them off? I compared them (at Grand Muffler) and there is not much difference between the Cobra factory header and the Marauder factory headers. Save your money and get shorty headers or long tubes.

not true, my friend out a set of cobra manifolds on his Merc and on the dyno he picked up 11hp. So in my opinion they flow better.

and do i have to cut or modified my stock front exhaust pipes to install the shorty or the long?

Unless you can find somebody with a used set they're selling on e-Bay or craigslist, "good deals" are whatever you can find at retail pricing.

Hes got a point. I would be a bit bothered if my sale was sabotaged as well.
