I was on the tire rack website and it turns out our factory rear tires are now the cheapest rear tires we can get. As much as I dislike them, looks like I'll have another set on the rear end come spring.

Are they really the same tire? I thought the new ones were different then the oe. Lower speed rating or something?

The OEM Camaro BFG isn't the same as the OEM BFGs that came on the Marauder, so if Dom's looking at those tires, they're REALLY crap.

I have the $107 radial TA on my Marauder. It's a bulgy, non rim protecting bead, regular passenger car type tire like you'd put on your Taurus. It looks goofy and has a narrower tread patch than stock even though its still a 245, because the tire bulge gives it the same section width as stock but the tread width on the crown of the tire is narrower.

It's a good enough tire if you can't afford a good tire. It could be worse, for the price its not terrible but it is not made like a performance tire at all, its just an oversized soft, passenger car tire.
