air compressor. how to detach the air line

how to i get the airline off of the pump? it has some weird plastic fitting that i cant seem to get apart?

If it has pressure in the line it's really hard to disconnect. Push in on the plastic sleeve, toward the fitting. While pushing in on that, pull out the tubing.

no it has no pressure, thats my problem lol. i took off that little black canister that the line goes into, i think thats my leak because the little o ring down in there was shredded.

Yup that easy, might be a little hard to pull out if it has never been removed before. If need be rotate the tube as you are pressing on the ring then pull. I deal with pneumatic fitting all day long and they can sometimes be tough to separate.
