My father inlaw has a 2002 Saleen and Bob Kurgan suggested a SVT Focus fuel pump for his S/C Saleen. Has anyone tried or heard of that being an option for our Marauders?

Lidio's place installed one on my car when I did some upgrading. Seems to work great if my power numbers and times are any indication.

PM 'TheDealer' his name is Ray and is a parts mgr at a dealership in PA (Chapman Ford, I think??). I checked him once a while back on wheels and a couple other parts. Now I don't bother price shopping, its not worth my time with the prices he gives. He will also only charge you actual shipping.

I know a guy who knows a guy that can get you a fuel pump. I think he said his name was Vinnie. Yea thats his name Vinnie.
So any way are you guys running a seperate circuit for the other fuel pump ?

Unless you're going crazy with boost and fuel pressure, I believe you only need to do a swap and use just the GT40, with a couple little mods to it. Write-up is in here somewhere. Got it saved in my MM folder on my pen drive...

Yes you can. Search posts by Zack from last year. He used a "wye" fitting, some hose clamps, and high pressure fuel line to join 2 SVT pumps in tank. I plan to do the same thing to my car in a few weeks.

what's the point in doing that? the car only takes as much fuel as it needs?

Bolt a twin screw to yours, then tell me how much fuel it needs, a stock pump even with a BAP is running at almost max duty cycle. So yeah, it's taking as much as it needs....... all of it.:D

Absolutely! I did mine without the Y in the tank.

In some applications, dual pumps may not even be enough.
Ford didn't put dual pumps in all 03-04 Cobra to look cool.

I'm not gonna do duel pumps if i had to use a Y ...there is some fluid type science going on there...friend of mine set up dual pumps with a Y on his Fox and ended up with fuel starvation due to cavitation was a bear to figure out, finally we got a knowledgable fella from Walbro to set us strait ...
