Hey, I've been owned by my Marauder for exactly 1 year! 40,558 miles, and enjoyed every one. I figured I'd post my own 1 year review, like some of the hoity-toity car rags do.
Mechanical: I've run her bone stock for this year. She seemed to really wake up after about 10K miles. The only two problems that I've had are, 1) the front end went out of align (so they say)at around 20- 25K causing abormal front tire wear. The rears also wore out at around the same time. This issue has been addressed here often, and I think it's basically new model growing pains. 2) My radio is still not working, although the parts (more of them) are on the way. The dealer is covering the costs under warrantee even though it is expired, so I have no real complaint.
Appearence: It looks cool!!! I tend to Whine about the paint quality sometimes, but I might be just a big baby about it. Shiny black is going to show every little imperfection. I should know, I've painted cars before. I was hoping for that hand rubbed look, but you're probably not going to get it for $35K in America.
Fun factor: WOW!!! This car is awesome! Still! More than 2 tons, with a great ride and good manners can't be this much fun, can it? I work all over the country, and I'll never fly and rent a car again. I did the math, and I average 111 miles a day. I sometimes wish it was 300.
Economy: Again, awesome! I've got up to 28 mpg on the highway, just did a 1000 mile trip this weekend, averaged 26.7 driving between 75 - 85 mph! Worst I ever got was 18, total bansi driving for about 100 miles, tank average would have been higher, but I wanted to see how bad it was. Even with mostly around town driving I get at least 21mpg. 300+ hp and 20+ mpg in a 2 ton car. My hats off to the engineer on this job.
The car is cool, I am cool, especially when behind the wheel. Next to my marriage license, this is the best money I've ever spent. P.S. I often feel this way after dusting off a Mustang GT, but I would have said the same things anyway. Also, by having this car, I also found thhis great group of people.

So yours was a Christmas present too! I got mine on the 26th. Only 22,000 miles so far, but I can echo your sentiments! Great car, great people!
