Looking for opinions on my exhaust set up. To start I picked up some JBS ceramic coated 1 5/8" shorty headers, I really want to stay away from the raspy soung of an X pipe so i've been looking at the Mac prochamber PN#PC9900 and then add some SLP high flow cat's to this unit and keeping the stock mufflers and axle back. I'm really not looking for noise I actually like the stock tone, this is just to free up the restricted stock system. What do you think?

A great exhaust man once said "if you like the sound of the original Marauder exhaust don't change a thing".

The stock system really flows pretty well!!:bows:
If you like the stock sound.....I'd leave it alone since you will gain nothing N/A!!:shake:

I agree that is a lot of money to spend for 2hp and it will change the sound. I think you might want to find out what mufflers out there keep the same exhaust note but maybe make it just a bit louder, not to the annoying point but to the enjoyable point. This will be A LOT cheaper then headers, mid pipe, labor etc....

Quite a bit at the wheels. Lowered my et's by about a half second, consistantly. This is provided you a) do the entire exhaust, and b) retune for any gains in volume efficiency. It gets pricey, but to get the most out of any performance mod, re-calibration of the system must be done. A cheap way out, get a generic tune from someone and install that.
