Marion County Show

This is the 2nd Anuual Show put on by the Marion County Sheriffs Office. It is March 27, 2010. Several of us went last year and it was a first class show. All Sheriffs personnel were professional and friendly and had as much fun doing the show as we did being a part of it. This year the special guest is going to be Mel Tillis. The show has been changed this year for the better. After the show, there will be cruise through downtown to the Sheriff's Farm Pavilion for a BBQ! It cost $10 per person and I have been told it will be more than worth it.

Those of us who went stayed at a Howard Johnsons which was just over a mile away from the Sheriffs Office Complex. Travelocity has rooms there for $60.00 a night. yo im in for that, i live about 1/2 hour away.
it will be interesting having alot of MM's get together in that town.

For those of you going, I will be parked in the Emergency Vehicle section. My son is bringing his 2003 CVPI and I will be bringing a 1997 Camaro B4C that was used and retired from my Agency. It looks like it did the day it retired.

I will be wearing a shirt that says Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, so if ya see me, wave and say howdy!

This is my boy's car at the show last year. Although his car was spotless, he did not get a trophy. He had a great time anyway.

Not sure if the MM will be back in one piece due to delays at the powder coater. I hope I can get it all back together in time but have a bit of stuff going on and am not sure if I will be ready in time to attend now. :(
