More or less your right in the ballpark...7k is a good start....after you blow out the transmission, driveshaft and rear, you will have spent 12-14k. You asked

You are in range for sure. Check out these cars from Dennis Reinhart. S/C kit installed. Novi air to air kit. Look to spend about 6K or maybe less. Depending on any extras you might want. I had little more in mine. Liked some of those "extras":D

He just finished this one. (Napolitano's)

Trilogy motorsports makes a super charger kit specifically made for marauders.
They go for around 6 grand.

I agree with all the responses ^^^.

Please remeber that such a big modification to a stock block and other stock pieces that cannot support the Hp will affect your pocket book. Once you dive in...you will have to continue to put out $$$ until it is right...for some cars this would entail a Bap, Trans work, Rear end work and other supporting pieces that may not hold up to the power....not to mention (A/F) gauges and coolers to make sure it is running correctly. Take a look at those who did dive in...they are getting supporting pieces like drive shaft, headers, brakes, etc...$$$

None the less...GO FOR IT!

Aloha

Haha...^^^That's funny...

You wish brutha...

Dave is pretty good at the workings of his car, and can fab up a few things if he needs too...

Don't be mistaken...Dave worked very hard to get where he is with his car...

It's just not that simple. Please remember, those of us who installed it ourselves have a differnet perspective....that's all....

Best of luck Brutha...

Sounds like it's probably with you doing it, just the parts and materials. Like the people said, just look into the power adder section and spend some time with the search feature. Then ask more specific questions on the direction you decide to go with to the people who've already done it for tips, tricks, and advice.

Also, in the mean time you can also install some N/A modifications, and build up the stock block in the mean time. Some underdrive pullies, 4.10 rear gears, and the J-Mod for your transmission will help bridge the time in between Stock and Supercharged.

Whistle tips foo sho!

Nah, for real, if your mechanically challenged, probably best to get a kit, any kit, made specifically for your car. A mild kit will cost you between 5-$6500 without install.
