I was driving back into Chicago after going to a Big Band/Doo Wop show in Arlington Heights when I see this Challenger creep up on me and pass me on right when 90 and 94 come together. This Challenger looked great. It had bright blue lights and the biggest white rally stripes I have ever seen.
He passes me and goes about 10mph faster than me. I look at my gf and her sis and say "Sorry, I can't resist." They were just fine with that. I caught back up to him and we were looking at one another. The driver had to have been in his early 20s or late teens.
He looked at me and hit it. I hit it too and not even five seconds later he was behind me by five or seven car lengths. By the time I decided it was time to slow down I was going 133. I will have to call up the snow tire company and tell them they should be rated to go beyond 125. My gf loved it and her sis in the back seat didn't even care. She was like "Well we'll be back sooner I guess." Just as calm as can be. The Challenger got off at the nearest exit and didn't wave or anything. Modern Mopar people = Sore losers.
This song was actually playing right when I pulled up to the Challenger and beat him too.

So, you raced over the rated speed on snow tires?
With passengers in the car?
Do you remember a previous discussion we had about you posting things on this board that make you look stupid? This is what I meant.
If you had been alone in the car I may not have mentioned it, though you would still be endangering others by racing with equipment not designed for racing.
That makes you a Darwin Award wannabe.

Dibs on the floor mats!!
LOL! Nice! I get the girls... doa... J/K! :D
BTW, my wife lost her best friend three years ago due to a high speed roll over. There won't be any parts salvage or open caskets at those speeds. I know.

Musta been an SE. ;)
Good thing, too, or you would have found out why snow tires are speed rated.

I've got W-rated Falken tires on mine year-round, and I NEVER plan on finding out if the speed rating is truly good enough for a W rating.

I suggest utilizing studded snow tires, or better yet....chains next time you street race over 100 mph!
Plus, when you spin off the line you will be; One Sparkin' MF'r !!

:hmmm:
Sounds very tempting, but I don't want to be blamed for anyone's death.

Good point, I was only thinking that stupidity would be blamed.

Don't you know that; No one is to be blamed for any of their own actions anymore!
