Can anyone tell me what the shipping weight is for a bare marauder body "bare" ie stripped with front and rear glass only. I am thinking around 800 lbs but I need a more accurate weight for shipping.
Thanks

Curb weight is around 4,100 lbs, are you talking without interior, etc?

If you get a bare body, go ahead and acid dip it like Penske used to do. Save a few kilos that way.

4,000 pounds.
I think he's saying body only, no frame, interior, or anything. If that's the case, and it's body panels only, 800 lbs. might be close.

yeah, sheet metal only...
600 or so would be my guess

PM answered with no clue whatsoever. Thanx for the heads up, though.

In terms of freight charges your paying for the space on the truck not so much the weight. You will need like 18" of space on the trailer of a semi. That would allow like up to 10000 lbs. So if you guess the weight within a few hundred pounds the freight charge wont change.. IMHO.

Curb weight is 4195 lbs.
If its the body only with no frame or drive line it would be around 1500 pounds. I take it no doors?

it's only 14' 6" and I am not sure it may go with a mixed load of freight or on top so I woould like to get a fairly accurate weight.

no doors, no nothin, except glass
If its just the shell and no frame it will be around 1300 pounds.
