This is a pic of Canadasvt's MM. Before you say "why don't you ask him?" I already did. So could someone help me figure out which ones these are. I like the 98-02 offset look with a beauty ring but I know they'll stick out on an MM. These looks like the closest thing to me. As always, your help is appreciated!

P.S. Canadasvt, I hope you don't mind me using your pic/car as a reference!

I see. I'm not a big fan of the flat rims, so I'll have to see if I can score some. Thanks!

Yep, those are it! So my question is, can I put a beauty ring on there? I can't really tell from the pic.

I just stumbled upon this, sorry. Hope you got the wheels you wanted. I got mine used in April 2005 from a 2003 Marauder owner. 225/60/16 front, 225/70/16 rear. Turn the tc off and I can go anywhere.

What you want are what's known as "10-Hole HD Steel 17x7.5" Wheels. You want the 17" wheels because the reason they went to these wheels in the first place (from the 12-hole, 20-Hole, etc) 16" rims is they were having wheel problems of some sort (I cannot recall exactly why---but you can find more info on the Internet). If I recall, the first year for the 17"ers was 2006, and they made them all the way up until CVPI cars were no longer produced.

I just installed them on my 2004, and have Firestone Firehawk GT Pursuit tires mounted on them (P235/55-17s on all 4 corners). These are "aftermarket" utility -duty tires made by Firstone specifically for police pursuit duty. I think they are Y-rated. But darn good tires.

As for traction control, if i am in conditions that require it, then I am driving slow anyway and my non-stock tire configuration is not a problem. But once I get up to about 45mph, I have to turn off traction control, otherwise I lose power (timing is retarded, so I hear). You will not damage you vehicle by turning off TC, or having it kick in if you forget to turn it off. The orange light on the switch on during highway cruising isn't optimal, in my book, but I am used to it now, and I now feel like its a small sacrifice to be able to get the best of both worlds.

As for glamour rings: I know you can get them for 16" rims, and I see them advertised occassionally for the 17" rims, but I've also read that the glamour rings do not actually fit on to the 17" wheels CVPI wheels. So just research it more before you buy; I was considering it, but in the end decided i actually liked the black wheels better with no glamour ring.

Hope this helps!
