'Round here, it went up 30 cents in the past month or so. Looks like it might drop soon, as the stations all went down 10 cents in the last week...average around here is $2.58 to $2.69/gal.

Try paying $1.07 per Liter of regular..... $1.14 for 91 octane...about $4.40 US per American Gallon. I never let my tank drop below half... doesn't hurt as much to fill up.

yup... as soon as the economy starts to rebound the gas prices are going to go sky high and probably end up bursting another bubble causing another massive ressesion transport and manufacturing costs will go sky high, nothing will move ships cant sail to deliver crap from china airline tickets will tripple trains will have to be parked.... yup it should be about 2012 when all this happens, right on time lol.

$3.15 for 93 here which the LS8 needs, $2.95 for my 87 burning DD. Can't wait to see what the spring brings when the DTR comes back out. I'm always amazed at the disparity around the country and north of the border.

SO TRUE, People seem to forget what caused the damn recession in the first place "the high cost of fuel". Ever since the Katrina Aftermath in 05 oil companies have been trying to fabricate sorry excuses as to why they acquired record breaking profits while thousands and thousands of people gradually lost their jobs in industry after industry. When gas was 1.75 a gallon everyone was doing better than they are now. I don't mean to ramble on but your post made a lot of sense that the news doesn't broadcast.

HA! I'm lucky to find it at 2.99. Usually it's 3.15 here and they totally screw the De Paul students. There is a gas station right near campus and it's about 20 cents more than another station that's 15 cents high than another station one mile away.
I drive the extra mile for 2.99 for 15 cents off the station in the major intersection. If it's 2.99 for me it's like 3.35 for De Paul students. Most of them are smart, but not smart enough to go on the internet and find out they can save 36 cents per gallon by driving one mile away. Chances are they probably fill up at the rip off station to drive home for the weekend. It's horrible.

I truly hope you aren't blaming everything on gas prices.
There is a lot more to it than that and my head is in the sand.
