Does anyone know how many Marauders are totalled or simply how many are still registered?

It would be nice if we had access to someone in the DMV who could come up with a total registered cars.
Out of the 11,052, Ill guess between 6K-7K remain.
Makes me not even want to drive mine anymore! :shake:

This is why I never plan on getting rid of mine. I dont want to be the old guy at the car show looking at someone else's and giving the "I remember" speech.

Over the years, there will obviously be a toll taken on the population.
We'll see this car at Barrett-Jackson in 20 or 25 years bringing great money.

The boneyard almost got mine the other day. A guy in a truck from other direction decided to make a long left in front of me with no blinker on. I had to lock mine up to keep from crashing and he never slowed.:(

Charlie, go get your charts out again. J/K..
I still wanna know how many modified's were owned by the clueless and junked. Or how many have sat at dealerships for sale with a crap load of goodies and overlooked.

Charlie's "Marauder attrition" charts should be 'stickied" as a seperate reference page.

Exactly 7,151 MMs remain. :P
That's 4,913 of 7,839 '03 MMs and
about 2,238 of 3,213 '04 MMs.

My 04 DTR becomes more valuable everyday. To me anyway :P
Exactly why I'm buying my first house, looking for a 2 car climate controlled garage because that's where my baby's headed. No more Ran, Snow, Direct sunlight, Cold weather, or Abuse (except the track :) )

How did you determine the exact # of cars remaining in service?

Charlie (Bluerauder) put together an attrition model a while back based on statistical probability of survivablity rates.
PM him if you want the specific details. IMO, it's as accurate as anything else we've got available.

I said that? I can neither confirm nor deny that, sir. But I will say half the fun of going to car gatherings is putting a face to the screen names.
