I'm doing a little research for fun. (Yes, I'm a little bored right now.)

Send me your born on date and prodution number for your MM. I don't want any other info. Don't give me the sequence number from your VIN, as it's not the same as the production number.

For example mine is:

2003 MM
Born on: 6/27/02
2163 of 7838

.....taken from my official certificate from Ford Performance Group.

I don't care about color or options or anything else.

Just send me the info in BOLD type above. If you are not positive, don't send the info.

One thing however. I am hearing that the production number on the certs differs from what RoyLpita originally gave out to us. Those of us who have not bothered with the certs will more than likely screw you up.

RLP's are close, but you're right; there could be a slight variance between his number and the Ford Perf data.

IIRC, the difference is between when the cars went into the system to create the VIN and when they actually hit the production line. The two don't necessarily sync.
