Uh, why are you posting a Mopar for sale on a Marauder website?

I can dig it. There is one in my 'hood, we always blip the throttle at each other. Definatley an eye catcher. Good luck with your sale, sir.

Uh, why are you posting a Mopar for sale on a Marauder website?
Welll.....
I posted it under "Other Rides For Sale" which apparently means "Other Rides For Sale"
I currently see a Buick car and a Chevy Truck posted for sale. Are they in the Marauder family?
I have seen other makes including foriegn for sale in the past under this topic...didn't know a Toyota was in the Marauder family
I have a Marauder for sale in the "Marauders for Sale" section
At least Chrysler and Ford have had a long standing relationship with parts cooperation which GM and Toyota never had. (Wheels same bolt patterns and backspacing, headlight switches, instrument cluster parts, shifters and linkage, center console parts, engine parts, etc., etc.)
Does that answer your question?

Doom...can I bring out the other Mopar in my garage to play? My '71 GTX with just a little 440 Six Pack. Yes, still has carbs but a few other "upgrades" have been done to the engine....not even a hemi. Requires a roll cage on the track along with several other safety goodies according to those pesky NHRA rules, but I see a big pulley on top of your motor so that shouldn't bother you. And it is registered for the street so it can be driven on the street, but it is tough to find the VP C14, C15 or better fuel it requires. We can meet over at Englishtown Raceway in NJ when you come to Carlisle.
Sorry, but Carlisle Productions won't let me race it on their track, too much for an 1/8 mile track as they told me in previous years.....but what do they know!
:burnout:
And yes Doom....I am still going to park my 2010 Dodge Charger Hemi Police car next to you at the Ford show this year since we are buds!:banana2:

Thanks...it is an eye catcher and is one of the most modern Mopars that resembles the "old school" muscle cars that Chrysler put out in the late 60's and early 70's before the Challenger line came out. Chrysler even brought back the original stripes and emblems from the original Super Bee. I still love my old school muscle cars but my '68 Charger R/T doesn't handle the same as the modern stuff does and my '71 GTX definately doesn't handle the same as the modern stuff does if it isn't going down a 1/4 mile NHRA track!

Sorry...didn't realize that....another example of the problems with the electronic mediums...sometimes can't tell when a joke is a joke.
I am also a member of the Charger forums, but I could never post my Marauder for sale there as I would get hit with a flurry of nastygrams! There is a definate difference in personalities between the two groups, on the forum and in person. I definately enjoy being around the Marauder people much more. When I go to a car show that has the Charger Forum people in attendance, I don't associate with them, even though I have owned Mopar Muscle cars before a lot of them were even born.
Too many :censor: !
I will miss this group once my Marauder sells, although since I am already registered for the Ford show in the Marauder class, I may just park my Mopar with the group!

This is why i mess with hemis so much!
The few times i have gone to their forum all i have seen was a bunch of crap talk and people that act like their cars are the most advanced, unbeatable cars ever made. :flamer:
And i must say the ones i know personally and that i have met are even worse! :shake:
n3fg you really dont come across as one of these types of people (must be the blue oval running through your veins :D ) and i would be happy to have you park next to me at carlisle.
Oh and fyi theres a much smaller pulluy on the blower now along with a built motor, ported blower and other goodies. (havent posted new pics yet). ;)

You are unfortunately very correct!

Please don't lump us all in with the :censor:
I know there are a lot of them! I especially like the ones that don't even know what a Dana 60 rear is, a "six-pack" or what an A-833 Transmission is but they are a Mopar expert!

You are correct Doom and my other Mopar buddies are not like that also. Myself and one of my other "best car friends" have blue oval running through our veins. He had a '69 Mustang Mach I with a 428 CJ motor in it that was absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately he decided to drive it one night after drinking way too much and just totally destroyed it. Looked like a one pound block of C-4 was detonated under it! Not much left but he walked away with minor injuries...as I say, God protects drunks and babies! We are the ones wearing the Ford, or Mustang, or Marauder shirts at the Chrysler's @ Carlisle show every year. We even have some of other Mopar friends wearing Ford shirts now....
Can't wait for Calisle now!

Ahh, those were some cars! Knew a couple guys back in the late 60's early 70's that ran big block six packs. Loved 'em.

Not yet, was ordered on January 15th, the plant that produces the police Chargers went back into production from holiday break on Tuesday January 19th, and the projected delivery date is mid March. I will post some photos when I take delivery.

I hear you. Mechanical linkages on muilt-carb set-ups were a real PITA to adjust/maintain, but oh, when they were spot on! :burn:
I can still hear that sweet sound of all six (or eight) barrels moaning under WOT. Nothing else like it.

Curious, There is a couple superbee's around here and they only say R/T on the back? I thought they were all R/T's with the 5.7? So I take it that there is differences?

There are 2 different levels of R/T. Look at the R/T badge, if it's just chrome then the Charger is "just" an R/T (5.7l MDS Hemi), if the R/T badge is filled is with red then the Charger is an R/T with the R/T package (20" wheels, interior upgrades, same 5.7l MDS Hemi & a better flowing exhaust good for an extras 30 40 hp).
I saw an SRT8 Magnum Wagon yesterday. It was shaaaaaaaarp. Bout broke my neck turning back to look at it. Blackity black inside and out, had the hood scoop, dayum. It was the first ad only time I ever wanted a station wagon.

Wonder why they stopped making these?
These cars are rare indeed. There are several SRT/8's in my area but in the past 2 years or so i have only seen 3 SRT/8 magnums! I see the R/T's all day long!
Thats the only SRT/8 i dont have under my belt yet!

Two weeks ago when I was speaking with the Regional Manager for Govt. sales for Chrysler when I was ordering my police Charger, we were just talking about them stopping the Magnums and the Police Magnums. He told me that sales were dismal at best and nothing they tried would stimulate sales so they decided to stop making the model all together, including fleet/police sales.

The ones I saw were R/T's. I have never seen an SRT/8 Superbee. I didn't think they had a superbee package on the SRT/8's.
We have several SRT/8 Magnum's around here, didn't even know they quit making them, a couple have been lowered and look saweet! I hear they are the "factory freak" powerhouses and seem to put down some of the lowest 1/4 mile times compared to the other models. Any truth?

The Super Bee package could only be ordered with the SRT-8 package as an optional package (including the 6.1 L Hemi). There were no "modern" (2006 - present) Super Bee's as any form of an R/T.
Also, the model year dictates the color of the Super Bee - 2007 (Top Banana Yellow) 2008 (B5 Blue) 2009 (Hemi Orange)
The Daytona package can be ordered with the R/T but not the SRT-8
I have seen lots of people buying the Super Bee graphics and emblems, putting them on their R/T's

The Magnums are R/T or SRT-8, but you can not purchase a Super Bee Package option for the Magnum, only the Charger. Lots of people buying the Super Bee graphics and emblems and putting them on Magnums, Charger R/T's, etc.
The Magnums are heavier then the Charger's also, but I forget by how much...

A.K.A. The Road and Track package option or Daytona package option

I also like to watch my fuel gauge slowly creep down as I have the six-pack open. I especially enjoy it when I have to refill the damn thing back up with VP C14 or better...
