This is kind of an up-date of an older thread i started. i was having issues with the oil pressure gage dropping out at idle to 25-50 psi. the gage never reached zero. i started to notice when the pressure dropped it was either raining or i was in the car wash with the car idling. when the pressure seems to drop i also noticed the lights flickering. not going all the way out just getting dim then bright real fast. my volt meter also drops in around 12.5 - 13 volts. i know both gages are fake which is leading me to belive this is some sort of electrical issue. my battery and alternator is orginal equip. maybe time to change them out?

The Voltmeter is not fake, only the oil press gage. You should see around 14 volts with the engine running, so you might just have an electrical problem... I'd check the battery, alternator, and look for bad ground connections.

Sounds like either bad ground(s) or a loose/bad connection somewhere.
