Best thing you can do is a search on these items and read about them. many options floating around.

Good luck

Welcome Big Bob! Most people here have switched to 4:10s, but,.. there are a few running 4:56s.

A lot of people here do business with Dennis Reinhart, because he has a bunch of great stuff for the Marauder, and he's a good guy.

Check out the vender's forums,.. They are all run by descent folks, if they weren't they wouldn't be members of this forum.... believe that!

Bob, I think the decisions you have to make is how far you want to go and how much you can afford.

Let me tell you what I have done, which is really bery little compared to some folks here.

1. Installed Reinhart underdrive pulleys (add about 10 HP).
2. Replaced factory oil gauge with a real oil gauge (also did the voltmeter so that they match).
3. Replaced factory mufflers with Flowmasters.
4. Repalced factory tips with non-resonator tips (by Megs) from Innovative Interceptors.
5. Replaced all four factory speakers with 6x8 Pioneer speakers. Installed myself.
6. Repaired rumbling problem of my subwoofer myself.
7. I have a Superchips Microunter on order (group buy from Innovative Interceptors). Expected HP increase is 25HP. I did not want a chip and like the flexibility of being able to reload the stock program prior to taking the car in for service by Ford.

I also boought the Premium extended warranty for 7 years/75,000 miles.

As I said, you can make lots of changes, but what you do is your choice.

BIG BOB:

Like Petrograde said, those who have switched went with mostly 4.10s, while a few went with 4.30s and a couple of 4.56s thrown in for good measure...

You will probably need to replace the driveshaft if you go with the 4.10s, and you will definitely need to replace it if you go any higher.

If you get a chip, or have the ECM re-flashed, you'll need to tell the programmer what gears you have, so they can apply the right corrections to the speedometer.

Dennis at www.reinhartautomotive.com can sell you the driveshaft, the gears and the chip (or reflash), and Wes at www.innovativeinterceptors.com sells chips, also...
