I did some searching but could not find what I was looking for. When this alignment is done on our cars I saw that the cam retainer flags need to be removed. From what I have read it seems like once these flags are removed they don't go back on. So if you have had this alignment done once before you should be able to have it done at another shop without a problem correct?
Or am I completely wrong and that the flags are removed and put back on so the new shop would need to have them removed to adjust the camber?
I'm going to get my new fronts installed tom. and wanted to get the alignment done as well.

My understanding of it (at the last time I read it) was that you knock the flags off with a BFH (big hammer) and they don't go back on. Haven't done it myself, but it's on my to-do list this year.

The flags were only so the factory could align the car by putting a dowel through a hole in the flag and then through a corresponding hole in the engine cradle. The flags serve no purpose after the car leaves a factory. Once they are off, it will be easier for shops to align the car in the future, yes
