The stock mass air flow meter sure looks small in terms of diameter. For performance gains, is there any reason to go with a larger diameter Meter?

I am planing an upgrade to a Cobra Eaton blower. Would the Cobra Mass Air flow meter work and plug into the Marauder wiring harness? Any benefit in doing this prior to the blower upgrade?

Also are there good aftermarket meters that anyone would suggest using.

Thanks
Karl

Stock MAF's (80mm) are great when N/A...

No gain when adding larger MAF to a N/A car...actually it takes away from the car...IMHO...

When Blown...the stock MAF pegs out, thus the need for a larger one...

No idea about the cobra version...But SCT makes larger ones that are Great!

I'm running the SCT BA (Big Air) 2400 Model...

Works for me!

SVT Lightning has a 90mm MAFS but it's not plug and play have to do just a little bit of wiring but nothing big compared to putting a truck body on a Marauder frame lol.

you will need a cobra or lightning MAF (same exact part) for the eaton swap. the maf will plug right into the stock maf plug, the only difference is that the cobra or L doesn't have and IAT sensor built into the maf like the MM does. sow hat you do is take the outer most wire on the maf harness (these 2 are for the IAT) and cut them about 6 inch's back. then, you route them to the lower intake on the cobra set up and hook them up to part number DY754 IAT sensor. you will need the corresponding pig tail for the sensor as well. you hook the 2 wires you cut from the MAF, up to the pigtail for the IAT, polarity doesn't matter. here is where i put my IAT

that is in the back of the lower intake on the cobra swap. if you plan on doing this to a N/a mm, dont bother. i did it and gained nothing.

Excellent You are going to make my Eaton swap a breeze

Only thing I need is the water cooler pump and Mass Air Meter
