Got my rear windshield replaced with oem carlite and passenger glass window and rear passenger window replaced. Now gota redo the 5% suntek tints again on the new glasses. Might change the front windshield too later on.

Whay did you have to replace the glass? The lines for the defroster on the rear winshield were gone when I bought the car almost 2 years ago. Wanted to do it sooner actually but never got the chance to do it until now. The side 2 passenger windows were also replaced because they were scratched/scuffed pretty bad on the exterior. Im pretty anal when it comes to my MM I want everything perfect how it should be.

Can I offer a suggestion to the both of you and others looking at this post?

I pull the fuel pump fuse after a long slumber on the Marauder and crank her over for 15 seconds by that time you can see that the oil pressure gauge has moved to show it circulated well.

Then I put the fuse back in and start her up. No knock nothing just fires right up. Best advice I can give anyone that stores their Marauder.

It's probably the BCM, not the motor itself. Blower motor failure is rare.

I wish, but with the amount of money I have spent on this car in the last two years, I have to get back to some kind of a budget. I don't even know where to start adding up??? It's been a fun ride, but this habit has to has some limits. Besides, the quicker I get this car to a degree I can live with for a while, I can get the storage lift and my 29-31 Ford Tudor bought and start hacking away.

I just had to laugh at myself for attempting that(lmao).

Replaced the serpentine belt due to it squealing loudly when its cold :eek: & a little less when the engine is warmed up. It would quiet down completely only when I sprayed belt dressing on the old belt, but that would only last for a few seconds :shake: . I replaced it with a Gates micro-v belt part # K060926 & now there is no more squeaky hamster wheel noise from under the hood when the engine is running. :banana2:

Slow day. Welded in the tunnel top, spot welded the bottom (lap joints), knocked the welds down some and cleaned it up for seam sealer in and out and paint. Trial fitment of trans/crossmember/shifter is a go.

Brandon (lowbuckMM) came over last night to disconnect all the lower messy stuff on the engine, I took care of the topside clean work 😊 and yanked out the block today as well. Heads go to the machine shop tomorrow or Tuesday for a valve grind, cams, and all Manley valves, springs, and other goodies.

Search for "carfixers" specs. They are different from the factory / published specs but are proven to work.

Yes:mad: nothing. At least I have a manual:rolleyes:. And I've looked everywhere that the stickers usually are and some..still nothing. I'm told it can cost towards $100 for Ford to retrieve the code. I just don't want to take the door panel off, although I'll have to to check the window controls anyway...

I put some stop oil leak stuff in my differential the other day, since the pinion seal is leaking a little. Worked great! Saved a **** load of money over replacing the seal! Also worked to stop up a leak in a plug well. Yes, the bottle said you can use it in motors, gear cases and differentials. I forget the name of the stuff. I can post it up tomorrow if anyone is interested.

After a five day hiatus, and an hour hooking up 5.1 surround sound in the garage (LOVE IT!) I got news from my head shop that my new Manley springs were coil binding 😞 I got some money back from the seller and gonna try to overnight some from Brian Tooley Racing today.

Pedals are the only thing in my way at this point, besides learning how to degree cams. 😞 I have the MM, fox body, and GT500 pedals all laid out and trying to make a decision on what will work. Attaching the pedal is one hurdle, but not all that bad. Figuring the travel of roughly 7" of pedal, but only 1 1/4" of the master stroke, combined with a VERY tight space is quite frankly kicking my ass, but I will win. Still trying to make use out of the GT500 master, but I think a call to Wilwood is in order as I already have to order a remote reservoir from them anywho. They offer a nice compact one very similar to the Shelby, but theirs is adjustable!

Engine is as far as I can go till I see some heads. Check out just how big are heads are! :eek:

Its a generic one from Web electronics. Had one on the Fleetwood and my Dad has on his Ann. Cougar. They have a three sequence(which is more) or a two. I just got the two since there isn't a third light. They last forever. Mine was @ $50.

Trial fit and everything clears perfect and operates super smooth. Just have to tweak the pedal arm a hair to straighten it out, cut the big ole brake pedal down, two new pads, and weld to tabs for the neutral safety and the reverse lock out and she is 100% a 6 speed car. Man I can't wait till she is dynoed!

Heads were finished up today with new Manley valves and hardware, Tooley Racing springs, and Crower blower cams and ready for pick up. Summit will have my 340 pump, new filter, bolts, two rolls of fake dynamat, Wilwood remote reservoir, cam degree kits, and whatever else I ordered at 1 AM yesterday..

Finish the pedal up, dynamat, and reinstall the interior after work tomorrow if I'm not plowing by then. 😔 Button up the Engine on Friday.

Nearly totaled the car when a ****ing idiot decided to pull out right in front of me while I was cruising at 35 mph in the lengthy turn lane and he was sitting 15 cars back in the go straight lane. ****er did not even look. My last second perfect swerve saved the day. Thank GOD.

I also just thought of something the other day. Freeing up some lost parasitic losses! And I was worried about the lower compression block hence the major change in pulleys, the cams, increased valves, and fuel system. Now I am really curious as I have no clue what to expect?

All I truly care about is everyday handling and street ability. Numbers are nice for bragging, but I'm truly not interested in numbers anymore.

I decided after much debate and two close knowledgeable peeps that I wasn't gonna degree the cams. I bought the gears, degree kit, supplemental kit, etc. but I will just return. I was out of time and needed to clear some space for other things going on besides this car.

No manuals, just used my alldata for the torque specs. Believe me, assembly is straight forward and a breeze compared to spending the money. That would also be the first straight forward thing on this project.

More snow today, yet another day down the tubes... I would have been test driving by now if it weren't for plowing!

Wow, that's way better than I expected. What car is it supposed to be for? Mustang?

Listed as GT500 with the correct shift pattern, but I thought they had a chrome bezel? Anyways, the regular GT's have the MT82 trans with the reverse top left. Problem with those are they are exceeding the limits on stock stangs. The TR6060 isn't bulletproof, but what is? It is definitely rated for much more power and comes standard with a twin disc.

Oil change, 81,444. Replaced oil filter adapter gasket, got rid of the drip. Front pads checked, just into the yellow.

Finally got everything together and had nice enough weather to put on my Marauder corner lights. Took quite a while to source the pigtails, but once I did and received them, it was all just plug and play.
Had to do a little adjustments to get the lights to fit right but turned out real well.

I just now finished replacing the plastic intake manifold on my 1999 Lincoln Town Car. Took me about 8 hours. Got the new re-designed intake for $215, plus incidentals totaled $290. Pain in the but but worth it to save a lot of cash. Could not believe the crap on top of the engine. Old mouse nest soaked in oil, ant-freeze and God knows what.......

Oh, and thanks to Ford for putting out a plastic intake with the integrally molded thermostat housing that's guaranteed to crack! Pure FAIL!!!!!

Did my exhaust today, did the rear cat delete, installed some Flowmaster 40's, and installed my Meg's 4" res delete tips! Also installed a new set of "test" spark plugs, and a set of Granatelli Hot Street coils. She runs and sounds good, gave her a wash too! (if anyone is interested in the factory exhaust tips, I may be selling them soon if they are worth it)

Pulled the Defyant lower grille mod out, was going to replace it since it's been in there for 4-5 years but couldn't find a spare one around my shop. So I just cleaned it and hit it with some black spray paint and threw it back in.

Well I let it sit about a month to long so today got the jumpers out and fired it up. Took quite a while to start as I believe the fuel in the lines drained. I let it run for a 1/2 hour or so and let it come up to temp while I listened to the CD player. I'll try in a couple days to see if it starts again.

Well, First, I installed my new fog lights (from an '03 Mazda Miata) and installed yellow bulbs.

Then got my Sony XAV-701HD double DIN touch screen put in

I overnight my checks to buy my first Marauder!

I bought new ZXE bulbs!

I made contact with Rocky to buy a OEM spoiler and have it painted!

And am booking a room for Louisville to meet you all there Saturday the 6th!
I'll be flying solo there, so hopefully one of ya'll will take me under your wing and let me hang with you.
