Due to the recent tragedy to Brian and Nat, Gordon and I would like to start a fund for them. PM Gordon or I for our address and make all checks out to Brian White and on the envelope write C/O Brain and Nat and we will not open any letters. Brian does not know we are doing this for him for we have not been able to contact him or Nat this morning. Our hearts and prayers go out to him and Nat at this time.

Any chance of adding a PayPal option to donate?

PayPal charges a percentage of monies received, unless you have a corporate account. Brian does a paypal, it is his e-mail account.

Yes, I do have a business account with PayPal and they do charge a nominal fee per transaction -- but it is much quicker, more confidential and easier than sending out a check (no offense intended). Let me know if and when you can arrange for PayPal donations.

They are doing fine; as well as can be expected. They have a long road ahead of them. Pretty much everything was lost. Their big bunny and his mom's dog were okay.

I will certainly help as well. The MM.net community helped me out and that was for something very minor. This is a major catastrophic event and I would be honored to be able to pay forward the kindness that has been shown to me here on this site. I can donate either way, check or paypal. Please PM me the info with the desired method of donation.

Did I miss the Paypal address?

If Paypal is not the way to go, I will send a check, but Paypal is instant money (despite the fees).

Paypal doesnt have to have fees. There is a 'Personal' option that you can send money as a gift. There are no fees. (there may be a requirement that it is a balance you have in your account versus a credit card transaction. But you can always find from your bank account. Same as you writing the check.)

Only catch would be if you are paying for a product/purchase and something goes wrong, you cant dispute it through paypal.

Just FYI.

^^^^^^ What Todd said ^^^^^

If you use the 'Personal' option and send money as a gift, the fee goes to your account and they get the money right away, so IMO, that's the way to go.

Brian and Nat are great friends, I'm glad I could help out.

If you need their e-mail address, PM ladyhawke, or let me know and I can send it along as well.

I hope I'm not the only one but what is this thread about? I see that a member is in trouble but there is no link to the story. I don't read every thread but if some needs help by all means count me in. I'll need the paypal address.
