Would you be interested in a new short block from Ford Racing Parts. Looking through their catalogue are short blocks that should fit your application.
These are the latest design blocks. WWW.fordracing.com (http://www.fordracing.com)

Sooo...what does does a used 03/04 Cobra Shortblock go for?
I got mine for $1,200 bucks.
Only had 12,000 miles on it! :banana2:
You can find them cheaper than that! You just have to look.

DOOM, did you have to refresh your shortblock before it was installed?
at 12k miles, i can imagine the cylinder walls were perfect

Just pulled my engine. Spun a bearing and decided to upgrade the engine while I had it pulled. Looking to get rid of my stock block (90k miles). Not sure what to price it at. What, if anything, is usually included with the short block? Is it assembled with pistons/rods/crank? Sold alone or with those parts?
I (and previous owner) used nitrous on the track a few times (wet Zex kit). Didn't seem to cause any problems except maybe the bearing.
Wouldn't mind holding onto it for a few months for you since you're over there doing something I sure wouldn't want to and giving you a few days to get to this thread/think it over before I post it in the "parts for sale."

Replaced all gaskets and seals brand new melling high performance oil pump.
Motor was in excellent condition when I picked it up.
Pistons looked great! No signs of detonation.
