What supercharger kit delivers the most horsepower? I know a lot of people use the Trilogy, but is there anything more powerful?

"most powerful supercharger"??????

Um...maybe a 14-71 with about 30% overdrive...

Your question is too vague...ANY supercharger can be made hugely powerful if you install the right pulleys and tuning and have enough money.

If you're asking which of the commonly available kits for the Marauder makes the most power right out of the box, the answer is 'all of them"...seriously, they're so close that it's a matter of personal choice.

You're going to need more than just a supercharger to get you into the 12's.

Yeah, like gears and headers. 3.73's or 4.10's and SW or Kooks long tubes should do it with either trilogy or a vortek kit.

There are hours and hours of reading you should do on this website to get yourself up to speed. It's not a yes/no question and there are as opinions as there are variables. Sit back, relax, and take it all in.

Sorry Rex I have to disagree with you on this one.
I was running 12.6 with just the trilogy & nittos (widened wheels)
stock gears and stock manifolds.
And I'm an inexperienced drag racer
My best run was 12.2 with the 3.0 pulley and 30degree temps.

I haven't been back to the track since I added the headers ported the blower and built motor with smaller pullies. :D

Sorry DOOMIE i have to disagree with you on this one. The chrome on you car gives you better aerodynamics hence your mid 12 second times.

Here is one from 2007, has a built motor, but that wasn't really being put to use at the time since I was only making 440whp (about what the centri kits usually make right out the box) with the 3.4" or whatever pulley the blower ships with. First night I ever took this car to the track, 3rd run, street tires, and my own tune - read bad shift schedules and 10.5:1 A/F. The car got 4.10s after this I think but they really didn't help the previous end time on the street tires
12.8@110
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rL7GBAJDYE

This next vid is from 2008 is still on street tires, the only change was LT headers and I fixed up the shifts a bit, still running 10.5:1 A/F, still running the same pulley that came with the blower (9psi or so). Second run since the LT install 12.4@116
http://www.youtube.com/user/vtrauder#p/u/7/hlxAdOH60s4

Since then I got my hands on some good rubber, made one run on em last year and went 11.9@117 on a pretty soft launch.

Moral of the story is 12s aren't a big deal with a blower, all you really need is a little tire... and even without tire it can be done with the power a centri kit makes out of the box.

I guess this is the kind of stuff I was referring to as much as anything else.

If you can't get the car to hook up, you're not going to run as fast, so just bolting on a blower won't guarantee 12 second runs. Just didn't want to mislead the OP, if he spends $6K - $7K for a blower, he's going to have to spend a bit more to use all that new-found power.

It won't hurt my feelings.
I'd love this tank if it was still mid fifteens. :banana2:

Mr. Sinclair, your Trilogy was great. And after all this feedback, it seems like a good choice. Everyone is running one. I'm just curious because my friend is going to buy a brand new Jaguar XKR with 510hp and I wanted to prove to him the mighty Merc is even faster than a $90k Jag. haha.
