My Idea for my coil covers

Thanks to Speed im getting a spare set of coil covers. That will give me a chance to do something ive been thinking about for quite a while. I always liked the design on the s55 concept marauders valve covers (example below) and i want to copy it to our coil covers. So im thinking of getting a vinyl copy done of it that would fit on a coil cover, put it on, and clear it with some high temp clear. Think this will work?

I apologize for the 'tard comment, your covers may be different. But most already have something on one of them that would prevent your sticker from sitting flush, and I don't mean bolt holes:

the letters are some what raised and it dosent sit very well. would look very crappy

There may be some flat ones on other models, I'm no 32V engine officianado tho.

wouldnt it be easyer to paint them and just get the vinyl in a thin strip with just the words on it? :dunno:

Dave I am not sure they would hold up with the glass. Seems like the heat would cause a problem with the heat. I think it would bubble up before to long.

not sure, the coil covers dont get that hot. ive put glass in some hotter spots but never bonded to metal.
