Hi, I'm Maury Seitz--AKA-cruzer--the unofficial cheerleader for the North Texas Marauders--we have a forum in the Forums Section. I just checked the "Welcome New Owners" thread for the last 6 months. THERE ARE OVER 60 OF YOU LISTED--WHERE THE H--- ARE YOU !!!!!!! In the last 2 years , I have found it difficult to get 2 MMs at the same place at the same time---exception=Centerville and 1 SVT meet. We used to have picnics with 21 MMs twice a year--we went to the SVT show with 15-18 cars. If you folks will just sign in on the Forum and say what you would like to see--breakfast--lunch--dinner get-to-gathers--car shows (one of the shows I go to had 437 registered show cars for their Spring Show--we have had a standing invite for 2 years--racing--picnics--tours--you name it--I've been putting on activitie for different groups for over 20 years and can usually take care of anything--just let me know. BUT, I am 81 years old and don't have much patience with those who can't commit to a project. This is my LAST attempt to revitalize the Texas group. The Houston group and the San Antonio folks are great to work with--let's get this show back on the road. Hope to hear from you, Maury

Hey, I'm still here. I was talking with Jason yesterday, and talking about the Ottos get together. I think we should start planning something down here, for March maybe. What do you guys think?

Nothing like Maury for spurring someone into action, huh?

I make a move that this time we meet and eat at Ottos. Those burgers and longnecks coming out of there looked pretty good.

Anyone? Beuller?

If there's a big outing near the San Antonio area I'd be very interested in making the trip. Unfortunately I can't go too far from here, I'm a working college student, so I'm basically working time and a half considering part-time job and at least 15 credit hours a semester. :(

Oh, and I was thinking about this, Maury: How did you get to be the (UN)official cheerleader for the TX Marauders? Did you retire? I don't think we let you give up the post of OFFICIAL cheerleader!!

Hey, you got my attention. I am out here in Tyler and will try to meet with you guys whenever I can. My business keeps me pretty tied up with travel at times. Anyone going to the Decatur Swap Meet?

I guess it started in 2002 when I joined MM.net and met Logan-- the local Cougar club, who sponsored us for the formative years, kinda asked me to be an unofficial activities man--the rest is history--when Logan moved, I inherited the group as moderator of the forum. As to retirement, I retired as Captain from American Airlines on Nov. 27, 1988--have done nothing but enjoy my life since then. I asttended the first 3 M'villes, but family health has prevented any other M'villes--they were the best of times. Now the time has come to regenerate the interest in our cars and get to know each other---the friends I have made thru the MM community will be a part of my life. Sooo, let's start planning for an active Summer--the first shows are in April---it's up to you folks--speak up, Maury :burnout::beer::help::D

If you come as far south as Houston, I'll buy lunch.

I recently bought Logans latest marauder from him almost two months ago. I was living in Katy, tx at the time but now I live in Cedar Hill. Unfortunately my job has me traveling to different parts of the country. I would definitely like to get together with some other Maurader owners whenever possible. Oh and i dont post on here very often I'm mostly a lurker but have been wanting to get more involved with the site lately. I'll try to keep up with the events as best I can.
