I just wish I was closer. I'm diong some work to my car now and all the marauder tuners are 2 days or more away. So I have two choices find someone closer or spend 500 bucks traveling. plus the tune.

Any tune you get is going to be a big improvement over stock. You'll be well satisfied with Lido's tune. Like DOOM said, there are a lot of guys here on he site that running his stuff.

4play;

These guys are just jerking you around.

There are several vendors of "canned" tunes. That is, a tune preloaded into an XCal or Diablosport flasher that is based on previous dyno testing for that model car.

A particular tuners philosophy on how to manipulate the finite tuning parameters distinguishes his tune from others. Like one football coach may emphasize a passing game where another promotes a running game. Both produce touchdowns.

If there is a best tune it would be what pleases you, hard shifts, soft shifts, and so on. Remember these are variables and can be changed if your particular tuner will allow it. Some don't.

I've had a Diablosport, A/A XCal-1 and now a DR XCal-2 each acquired based on the level of my cars modifications. The DR tune is base on a dyno tune not a "canned" version.

Inquire, evaluate, decide. Brand loyalty comes into play also. I like the Saints, the Colts suck.

Regards.

^^^^^^ well said, Pat ^^^^^^

You're point is absolutely on target Pat, there's no one BEST, it really all comes down to personal preference. And yeah, we were just having a little :Offtopic: fun with the thread.
Which rear tires are the best replacement for the OEM BFGs?

What's the difference between a 300A and a 300B... :wink:
