Friend of mine has a 04'-05' (i dont know the exact year) Silverado SS. someone left his truck on stands and stole his rims, the stock rims. Insurance cut him a check for $3,500 since the wheels are no longer in production and some other B-S he told me that they told him.

now....... i know it probably depends on the insurance company.... but in a situation like that how much do any of you all think our rims would catch?..... how much did our rims cost from factory when they first came out?....

i told him that our rims are worth more than his........... its a ford vs chevy thing

MM wheels from Ford are in the $1200. each range though you can probably find them on E-bay or something for less.

Dadark jedi here in chitown had his stolen. I believe the ins. screwed around with him for a good while but in the end they took care of him with new rims, tires, and center caps. Hopefully he will chime in and correct me if i'm wrong in any way.

Correct! Alot of the wheels on eBay are cast not forged like the OEM ones are.

IIRC the wheels cost Geico $581 when they replaced one of mine, direct from Ford in 2004. Probably a bit higher now.

Good thing about our WHEELS is that if someone is stealing them to go on another Panther car, ours are about 6" to small in diameter.

I'd say it would depend on location as to the popularity.
