Sounds like the o-rings are leaking. You can replace them yourself, if you can find the o-rings, or send it to me and I'll replace them for you.

oh god...... maybe you should send it to Fastblackmerc.... the problem is more then likely the head unit (the whole push button thingy) you have to take that carbon fiber dash trim off, remove the 4 bolts holding the unit in, unplug the 2 connectors at the back and unscrew the 2 10mm bolts holding the vccume harness on the back, tak the cover off the unit remove the cylenders and replace the O rings.

Probably need to find the thread on EATC rebuild and follow the instructions. Dealer will charge around $700.

check the wrekers before you spend 700 bucks. as long as the unit looks the same it will work.

just replaced all 4 O-rings on my EATC, fired up the car and tried out the controls and all kinds of debris blew out from the vents and into my face. A success!!!!!! you could tell which o ring was shot by how loose it was pulling out of the tube. thanks for the help.

I have a couple used EATC unit for sale, and one brand new one for sale...for a brand new unit from the dealer the part is over $700 Id like to get $350 for the brand new one and id like to get 150 bucks for the used ones. I would verify functionality of the used ones before anyone purchases one.
