Does anyone know if 0.3937" is correct for stock valve lift? Exhaust and intake I presume? Max with a stroker and 10:1cr? 5.0 stroked (323ci) with our 4v heads, would a cam @ 0.475/257 intake 0.45/259 exhaust have clearance? Thanks!!!

The big bore pistons should come with valve reliefs right out of the box.

Those cams will probably require new springs, especially the .475 lift.
Sounds like my cam specs. I'm considering upgrading to some custom grinds...

Or big dished tops.

Mach 1, 03/04 Cobra, Aviator, Marauder, Navigator, GT500, Mark 8
Intake: 184 deg @ .050/.394" lift
Exhaust: 196 deg @ .050/.397" lift
114 LCs

96-98 Cobra
Intake: 204 deg @.050/ .390" lift
Exhaust: 196 deg @.050/ .390" lift
114/114 LCs

99/01 Cobra
Intake: 200 deg @.050/.392" lift
Exhaust: 196 deg @.050/.390" lift
114 LCs

FR500 (M-6550-T46)
intake: 212 deg @.050 /.472" lift
exhaust: 208 deg @.050 /.472" lift
109 LCs

Ford GT(actual as tested numbers, not Ford specs)
Intake: 189 @ .050"/.424" lift
Exhaust: 190 @ .050"/.448" lift
The centerline is up for debate as this set tested at 122/118 but I think the Ford states the LCs as 114/114

Cobra R
Intake: 212 deg dur @.050/.515'' lift
Exhaust: 212 deg dur @.050/.468'' lift

:D Well, uhhhhhhhh... It started that way! It's looking 302 stroked like yours, Kooks headers, etc. Already have the 39#ers, NAZ intake (reworked), 90mm MAF, twin 10lb nos tanks for the 200 shot... looking at fuel pumps, cams, etc. DOH!

Thanks again Zack and Brian!

Looking at the lift numbers of thr Cobra R it must be quiet the power plant. I'll have to do a search on that bad boy.

What Cams you going with? I went Ford GT cause I live in Cali (paranoid) I probably would have gone Comp Stage I blower cams or FR500 in hindsight but...:bigcry: I buckled.

Comp Cams, still deciding on the right ones. Carefully researching all options and listening to my machinist and mechanics.
