Blisters under the paint, lighting control module failures, trans tailshaft seal leaks from worn out bushing, rear axle shaft damage causing axle seal leak(more common on 03's)

There are a thousand things, just as in all other cars, each car has it's own characteristics, mine the O2 sensors throw a code when in a heavy downpour, and I had pinched wires in a wire bundle that had to be repaired, when shes fixed, you forget all about the down time. Mine was clean as new when I bought it at 60'xxx miles, (still is) just shows that the previous owner cared.

You need to get an alignment done with carfixer's specs after you get the new tires installed, that will take care of the inside tire wear issue.

lol, bald ass naked, never heard the inner tire wear described quite that way. you need to get that fixed before them threads and wires and PSI's start departing your wheel wells. i ran a set of fronts like that, looked like someone ran a can opener around the inner edge, it cannot be healthy on our suspensions to keep doing it

I think the biggest common problem, and I think I speak for a lot of other owners is that you will drive the heck out of it and will want a second Marauder. I know I do.

Some early 2003 had bad valve seals on the drivers side resulting in a puff of blue when started up even with reletively low miles.

Mine required mods, many, many mods, they cost a lot more than any maintenance program.

Make sure the air suspension works and that the air suspension pump isn't loud. It makes noise that you can hear in the cab, but if it is loud it is on its way out

My compressor went South at 38K . Installed police cruiser HD coils. Handles great. No airbags or compressor to worry about.

You are sooooooo right, I'm seriously thinking about buying a 2nd MM maybe a DBP 03 or Blk/DTR 04 when I come into some more money.

The only problem I had with my 30,000 miles and 2 years of ownership was and still is keeping and finding rear tires :D

There are a handful of problems seen with Marauders now. One is paint accidents. For some reason, Marauders are increasingly involved with accidents involving large amounts of green or orange paint, causing irreparable damage to the overall vehicle. Additionally, there have been great shortages of the stock wheels, causing many to install a variety of aftermarket wheels, which match the stock wheels in color and shine, but vary wildly in number of spokes and whether or not the wheel appears to rotate at the same frequency as the tire. In the worst cases, the wheels start to take on the appearance of kitchen appliances such as blenders and cheese graters.

Some of the problems are not as bad, and include the accidental application of Mustang parts to the rear end, the introduction of tune-altering viruses to the ECM, and the inadvertent installation of belt-driven air compressors in place of the regular air intake. Luckily these last few problems allow the vehicle to continue to be drivable, but at the risk of the driver and passengers.[/satire]
