That my friend is a loaded question. I haven't looked at the ad yet so I don't know what year it is.
For starters is it a 2003 or 2004. Try to stick to the 2004!!!
The 2003 had a few TSB's that were fixed for the 2004 year. So right of the bat you may have less problems. The 2004's had a beefier tranny and a little bit higher stall converter
Does it have any mods? Has it been tuned to its full potential.? Is it in the snow belt???Check for rust. Check the front tires for wear patterns, it may not have been aligned to "Carfixers Specs" meaning the MM's had a tendancy to wear on the insides really bad. Have you test drove it yet?? Check for blue smoke on the drivers side tail pipe (2003's only) Turn on the headlights and leave them on for a while. That will let you know if the LCM (lighting control module) is working good. This is just for starters I'm sure others will have more advice to offer.

Just the usual stuff. Inspect it closely & drive it and make sure everything works.
Some cars have had rear axle/headlight control module issues. It is repairable.
Also, be aware that some slight upper engine noise and an occasional puff of smoke from the exhaust on startup is relatively common with these cars and may not *necessarely* be a serious condition.

Depends. I typically don't go for high mileage cars, but the panther platform itself is pretty durable so if a well loved car doesn't bother you, I'm sure its gonna keep on truckin for quite a few more miles.

high miles on cars doesn't really bother me my jeep has 139,000 miles and it still runs amazing. but i think it really depends on how well it was takin care of.

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site.
I ran the VIN through Ford's OASIS database. It only had a claim for 3 lug nuts added to the right rear wheel at 4 miles. Run a Carfax report to see for sure.
Note: According to Autocheck, it has had 4 owners and an accident on 1/21/04.

Use every button on the dash...all of them can be connected to a pricey repair if you don't have a good mechanical background...example the heater output comes out of the right vents and ONLY the vents you requested,if you call for defrost it should not be throwing any heat at your feet. ask them not to start it before you get there...cold start noices can tell you alot.
