I'm just wondering if the dress up parts for the mustang would work on our cars. I'm talking about the Oil fill cap, Coolant Fill cap, Brake fluid reservoir cap, etc... Not sure if this has been covered before but I had a hard time finding anything along these lines. While I am pretty sure they will work I wanted to check before I spent my money.

While I really like the Colex items they do not lend themselves cost and design wise towards what I am trying to do. I'm not really looking for the God head logo every where and plan on powder coating all of these billet caps/covers.

UPR has a really nice Mustang kit that covers most of the items I am looking for and it can be had for about $135 http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-billet-stage-1-underhood-package-98.html. The other items I am looking at can be bought individually from UPR or LRS or any of the other mustang houses out there.

I was also wondering if the Fuse box is the same as I have found a couple of nice looking covers for the Mustang but wasn't sure if it would fit on ours since I do not have a Mustang to compare against.

I also plan on using their Billet Mustang Battery mount when it comes time for the Eaton swap.

Thanks but like I said in my first post:

Not really looking for any logos, at the most maybe an inscription of what the cover is (oil, power steering fluid, etc...) and I can pick up a complete UPR kit with more caps for less than the cost of the 4 caps Colex offers.

I just need to know if the factory caps are dimensionally the same between the stang and MM is all. The UPR are the same as the colex and just get stuck on over your factory caps.

I really like the Colex but don't want to pay extra for something I would just be reprepping and powder coating. Plus I didn't see a cap for the washer fluid reservoir on their site and I would like to cover that cheesy looking flip top cap along with the rest of the caps

I'm also not sure how well the engraving would stand out once the coating was applied and don't want to find out it won't after the fact. Plus I want something besides the God head logos just to be a little different than the rest.

The caps are the same

Sweet, thanks. I was thinking they should be, knew the oil and PS caps definitely were but wasn't sure mainly about the radiator and brake fluid reservoirs.

Anybody know about the fuse box? I would like to do this also but think I can make my own from some sheet metal I have laying around if I have to.

I have to put this on the to do list. Dave came across a sweet deal on a ported Eaton unit w/the quick change pulley kit that I am going to snatch up now. Not sure if it comes w/the lower intake and intercooler but it is a sweet deal I can't pass up.

I will be looking into the UPR parts some more along with several other little dress up items. Found billet caps for the high/low ports on the AC lines and covers for various items such as the EGR valve, the valve on the back drivers side of the eaton unit, and a few other cool widgets that will be really nice accents once it is all tied together.

I will provide plenty of pics once I get the motor with the freshly coated covers on it and as I add more pretty things.

I may still call Colex for the caps as they have one design I really like but it is only available for the brake fluid cap on their website. I will need to see if they can make a complete set in that style for me including one for the wiper reservoir and the coolant tank for when I get the eaton in. I wouldn't want it polished or even a great finish put on it as I plan on having them coated, it would be a shame to ruin work like that. Probably more expensive this way but I will have something totally unique if it is feasible.

Looking at his site though I think he cannot offer the Ford symbol since I only saw MM and Cobra stuff.
