intercooler size

I just recieved a intercooler for my eaton conversion.. I purchased it from svt performance. I was told it is for an 03-04 cobra. It aliens with the mounting holes. My concen is it seems awlfully small. It is a Garrett unit p/n # 723748003 or 7237488003. Is this one ok ?

Thanks .The first one I purchased from the same guy sent me one that was twice the size made by Velocity larger finns ect. The flanges holes lined up but it did not sit right. When I set it back the guy told me it was an upgraded unit sent by mistake and used a special gasket. When I compare this one I became concerned. It is miniture compared to the other one. Now I am starting to see why people upgrade intercoolers & heat exchangers. This should be fine for apx 10 psi. max.

That intercooler you have is good for 30psi.

Yep. I'd like to try out an upgraded one if I could get it on the cheep... Not so much for increased cooling efficiency but for better air flow (less restriction = more boost without any of the losses that come from turning the blower faster).

Take a few rows of fins out....some die hards do that without any decrease in cooling.
