Dielectric grease

Remove the entire fuse panel, remove the corroded connector, get a replacement connector, then coat with dielectric grease and reinstall. You may be able to clean the connector with a dremmel with a wire wheel attatchment.

Agree with the above posts, if you are unsure what dielectric grease is, it's the same stuff in those little packets at the Auto Zones/Advanced Autos that are for "battery terminals".

+1 on the wd-40 and also a big shout out to Permatex silicone spray.

To clean the contacts buy some electrical contact cleaner at Radio Shack.

Don't know if I'd go the WD-40 route.................

WD40 and silicone spray, you can take that to the bank.. Stops it dead.. I worked on FIATS for quite some time and silicone spray was the stuff to use. Make sure its not the dry type. Two good brands are Permatex and the brand they sell at strauss in the yellow can. WD40 is a close second but has a stank to it.
