If you are considering getting new rear tires soon I recommend you get 255/55/18 and you choose the company. The reason I think you should go with the size is simply because it's the easiest to find. If you drive your car all over the place like I do and blow a tire with an oddball size you could find yourself stranded or running around town for that special size... or worse you'll have to buy two tires to have matching sizes to make sure the ring and pinion do not get damaged.

Been there, broke that. Do yourself a favor and make things easy on yourself.

I ran that size once. I also ran 225/60-18 and 295/45-18. I would run the last one or if I in a pinch, the 2nd one. I did not like how the 255/55-18s filled the wheel wells. I thought they were too close and if there was a blowout, it could damage the bumper cover and 1/4 panel.

Just my .02 and then some.

Yeah, I thought most folks were running those.

255/55 Nitto 420s in the rear and 235/50 Nitto 555's up front for me.. they're great!

Then if you put your spare on you have three different tire sizes.:lol:
