Most folks arrive on Thursday afternoon. Thursday evening activities are usually Ad Hoc... like dinner at one of the local restaurants or at the German Gasthaus. After dinner many people gather in the lobby or one of the meeting rooms for LCR games and such. Formal activities start early on Friday.

Departure times on Sunday vary based on the length of the drive back to home.

Not a good idea for this event. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town and there are lots of people coming and going. We have a good reputation there so we don't want to ruin it with a smoking tire show.

This event is a social gathering not a racing weekend. The police escorts the group through town so that we can stay together. Can't get 36+ cars through a stop light cycle.

I ask that all of us obey the road rules so there will be a Louville VI.

Tour dates and times are all set.

Charlotte and I cruised out to Maker's Mark yesterday and is a nice trek thru the countryside.

Twisty, curvy, hilly two-lane black-top for the last 27 or so miles to Maker's. Their Gift Shop is very, very nice as well as their grounds.

I was told to call them just before our arrival so they can guide us to our parking spots prior to our tours.

Getting stoked about this in a big way.

I am 90% sure of where we are going to eat Saturday night, and rest assured, it is some damn good :food: if it works out.

This is quite a few rooms shy based upon the number of people who answered the poll.

If you have not booked your room as of late, you must do so very soon for the guaranteed rate of $82.00 p/night.

Once the block is lifted, the rates climb to $119.00 p/night.

The issue that John will be discussing with his Major is liability while the Officers are 'covering' us.

Approvals for escorts are getting very difficult to obtain, and am hoping John can work his magic on getting this request signed off.

Regarding the Restaurant for Saturday night:

Approx. 20 minutes from the Hampton Inn with majority expressway cruising.

There are 4 customized menus for our group to choose from:

1.) Ribeye dinner with a side, salad, croissant and beverage.
2.) Chicken with bacon, cheese over rice with a side, salad, croissant and beverage.
3.) Cedar plank Salmon with a side, salad, croissant and beverage.
4.) Kentucky Hot Brown with salad, croissant and beverage.

The cost per plate is between $18.00 and $22.00.

I have visited this restaurant over the years and their quality of food and service is top notch!

There will be a parking area we can use immediately behind the restaurant to keep our MM's together and away from others visiting the restaurant while we are there.
