i may store my mm in my parking space under a car cover. what would i need to do to prep the car? or is it unadvisable to let it sit on its wheels for ~3 months?

Tires should be turned occasionally or removed and layed flat one their sides. Also, you have to check under the cover periodically because dust gets under there and the wind will make the cover move somewhat and scratch the paint. Also, I knew a guy that put a cover over his car and did not check on it for a couple of months. When he did his window was knocked out and the radio was gone.

I would not let it sit with running a every few weeks. On a clear day take it for a short ride.

Car covers need some research. Be carful!

^^All of the above^^

I store two cars over the winter. If I can't get one on jack stands, the MM in this case, I park it on small pieces of plywood under each wheel. The one doesn't get driven ALL winter, there for it gets a treatment of 'fuel stabil'. The tractor does as well. Both the tractor and the Fiat also have battery trickle chargers on them. The MM does as well, as we don't get too many drivable days through January and February. I cover the wheels with garbage bags as the occational stray cat finds it's way into my barn, particularly when I forget to close the doors. Both stored cars are covered, but thoroughly cleaned first.

Thats about it for me.

All the above but also if you store in a garage, place 3/4 plywood underneath the whole car, cement weeps moisture on the warm days, the wood wil stop it from rising to the underside. Take it out on the road as often as weather permits.

Better, yet.......just move down here where's it's warm! Then you won't have to store it at all.

My freind Santino bought some carpet samples and made a mat for his car. He said it helps the moisture too.

I would think that carpet would collect moisture.

I'm using the Car Capsule (http://carcapsule.com/) for my car. I like the principle behind it.
