adjustable pedal

My adjustable pedal mdoes not work. When you press the button you can hear it engage but it doesn't go up or down. If you put your hand on it you can feel it engage to go up or down, but it doesn't move. Can anyone help?

It's toast. Either learn to live with it or you need to invest in a new one.

You'll have to replace the brake pedal assy to get the other one to work.
