Saw these in the latest issue of 5.0 Mustang. Thought they were nice pieces but I think will be around $400 (read it wrong, they said 4 digits $1500-$2000). Just a little pricey.....

No screw spots for the coil covers?

That is a machined finish. They start as a 107Lb piece of billet aluminum and are machined down to what you see. Another website say they weigh 6lb when done.

I think these are pics of the prototype ones, might be why no hole for the coil cover.

A waste of metal yes i agree. but machined engine parts are like machined gun parts for the military. they cost more but last longer and stay stronger even when abused. Stamped metal is good and cheap but it doesnt last as long. so it would still be a good investment.

I noticed there wasn't any hardware shown. So would you have to swap your baffles over from your own covers?
I would go with the Sully covers for 6 or 700 before these

How strong does a cam cover need to be?

I want clear covers so I can see the cams in motion. That would be the coolest.

I never had a link, I had pics from an article that I attached. I had to delete them because I ran out of storage on the forum.

You can see them here: http://mustangforums.com/forum/svt-forums/572921-4v-billet-valve-covers.html

They are not on the Granatelli site, my guess is because no one would buy them a the 4 digit price so they scrapped the product and never released them.
