Are there any performance rad hose options for the MM? I think it's time to replace them all, and by the looks of them, I figure Ford is probably my only option, but just thought I'd check here first.

Btw, the search function is terrible on this site.

Factory hoses are good past 200k. Just clean them.

My upper hose looks like it's swelling a bit. Plus, I'm looking at replacing the water pump, and think I should do the hoses at the same time. I'm not over 200K miles yet, but getting there (163K miles so far)

i dont think you can really put a millage on a rubber part, more of how old it is and what climate its used in. the tires on my 76 truck prolly only have 10k on them and are pretty dry rotted. id just swap them out with OE stuf and get back to :burnout:

You may be able to match up the upper hose and the thermostat hose to some silicone hoses, but the bottom hose will be difficult to match up to anything. I'd just put new OEM replacements on it.

Type in engine dress up in the search box. There are some good links listed in that thread. Thread was started about a two weeks ago.

I haven't done any work yet.... too much business travel. Hope to get it done soon.
