View Full Version : Ahh, I love this car

I went girl shopping in downtown Charleston today with a buddy, and we were cruising around turning heads and chasing the girlies. This car is so loud and mean that people stop and look to see what's on the way.

During the cruising, we drove by a group of people and I gave it a good rev and as we were driving away I heard someone say, "Now that's a Marauder."

One of my favorite parts was I was saying hi to these two girls walking down the street and I heard from the other side of the street, "Easy fella, those are mine". Moral of the story: Make sure the girls aren't with their dad when you talk to them.

All it all it was a good day. I can't wait for spring, cruising weather here we come! :D

I was there in 1977 78 79.. Had a lot of fun. I had a Black 1976 olds cutlass. t tops .. got busted steering with my feet downtown..

I may have seen you just a few days ago. I was in charleston for my spring break and I saw a nice pretty black marauder making a right turn by that big ass embassy suits. I waved but i don't think you noticed me because I was a ways off from the cross walk.

I was in downtown on Saturday. Mine is also noticeably loud, so you should have heard me too. :)

I love this car. I just put my wheels back on today and took a short drive. It was nice to see people turn and look now that I have the Grand Marquis rims off..

Girls dont like my car. I dont drive an Eclipse with an un-painted body kit, and i dont ware a visor turned upside down and backwards.

but honestly. i get more complaints about my exhaust then i do complements. Too much cabin drone for the ladies, and my guy friends who arnt into cars dont really like it either.

i love my car and my girlfriend does too as she gets to drive it most of the time.
but around here if you dont have a jackedup truck you just aint cool.

Went window shopping downtown again. This time the local PD took an interest in the car because I was cruising around in 1st letting the pipes sing. All I got from them was, "If I had this car, I'd do the same thing, but I had to stop you."

Ah, still love this car. :D
