I have a Pioneer Avic-F900BT with a JL monoblock 1000/1 wired to a JL 12W7 that is firing towards the rear of the trunk. Right now the only pass-through that I have is from the original OEM sub opening on the rear deck. This is not providing enough area to let the bass waves pass into the driver's cabin. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to open a larger area on the rear deck or to make a custom pass-through where the rear arm rest is located in the back seat?

Try facing the sub to the rear of the car. They will be louder and work better.

Im not sure how much your actually going to get into the cabin, it sounds like you have plenty of power...these cars arent great at letting air foward. Good luck.
