Got to playing around with a pic of the Marauder in Photoshop. Had the idea of a chop top version. I think it'd set the car apart from other GM/CV's. Eventhough getting the factory to do this is virtually impossible, it'd be a neat idea for a customizer...

you mean a Marauder convertible?

haven't you seen the two door concept moving about from coast to coast appearing at International Auto Shows with a Supercharged DOHC engine?

thats a convertible man, full size convertible.

No... CHOP TOP, not conv. Lowered roof line. I hate the two dorr conv. I don't think two doors works for this body.

heh, my bad, misunderstood you...

I think the Chop Top job is for a private enthusiast... Ford wouldn't even consider it especialy with the way the Marauder sales are going now... I hope the Marauder does last for a couple of years, I want to be able to make some money to actualy buy a new one.

Hmm... maybe this would be more to your liking? I know, it's missing seats... Took those out for milk crates to save weight! :D

LML, I didn't mean to chop it off... I meant really lower it until the windows are only about 10 inches tall. :)

Get a profile shot and a strait head on and do it again.
Knocking about 4" off the top would not hurt head room at all,at least for me,and really remove it from "Grandpa car" status.

I could not do it even if I had a month!!!!! I have a son that is gifted with computers. He did it in about 15 minutes, gave me a headache watching him do it.:D :D :D

Very cool looking!!! The car does look very sharp with the lower roof line. I'm going to have to ask my son how to use that Photoshop. Hey i'll bet it can make an ugly girl look pretty !!!:D :D :D

Smokie: Yah, you COULD, but that still won't make it anybetter when you're in bed with her... That is, unless she'll let you tape the print out over her face! :D

Racerx: Hmm... Interesting... Too bad no one buys wagons anymore. It's all SUV's. Hmm... speaking of SUV's... How about we make it a two seater with a 8' bed, 6" lift and some mudders?!?! :D

PS: No chance in hell I'm ever going to try to do that in photoshop!
