I nicked one of the snow banks in my driveway with my MM and busted the crud out of the front passenger side marker light. The snow melted and refroze till it turned into rock hard concrete in my driveway! I got the part and popped the hood to replace it and saw the battery is in the way. Anybody know if I have to take the battery out to replace the marker light or just loosen up what's holding the battery in place?

You don't have to say it - I know I am lazy!

The snow in Maryland was totally ridiculous this year. This a pic from the 1st Snowmageddon storm . . .

Contact Ray "The Dealer". He is the Parts Mananger for Chapman Ford Lincoln Mercury in Philadelphia. He can help you get a deal on the part. As for removing it, remove the filler piece under the hood between the core support and header panel and use an 11mm ratchet and socket to remove the 2 nuts that hold it on. Good luck.

I had to replace one a few years ago, and the battery does not need to be removed. You have to have agile hands and a 1/4" drive, but it's not difficult at all. Just be patient.
