I was pressure washing the dreded love bugs off and the clear coat came off the drivers side mirror plastic cap!

It can be repainted easily. It beats spending big $$$ for a new one that has to be painted to match anyway.

I would get a can of Krylon and spray them

Take it to a body shop.

Don't use high pressure spray on a painted surface.

There are sprays that will take off the bugs.

I think the krylon route is the way I'm going with the mirror covers. As far as the grille, I've seen them on ebay for around 95 bucks or so. They say that they are black, just wondering if they're plastic black or painted black. Not OEM but!!!

Got the mirrors covered, going to spray bomb them :woohoo: . But, still looking for the grille!:help:
