I'm going to pull the engine out of the MM, to rebuild it, I have a spare 2 valve, can I put it in for a few months while rebuilding, ...Flame suit on.

FWIW&IIRC, you would have to switch all the associated accoutrement (wiring harness, computer, etc)...................... seems like it'd be a bigger pain in the ass than it's worth.

Something wrong with the MM engine?

No, but there could be more right with it. I just don't want to try find a 4 valve.

Run it 'til it blows up and drop a Coyote 5.0 in it.

I don't see a problem for your reasoning at all. As far as getting it all to work, that I am not sure of. Good luck!

Will these fit?

You are going the WRONG WAY.

Buy a beater car instead and then when the Marauder is back, you will enjoy the Marauder even more.

I think you're kidding with us to get a reaction. ;)

Buy a beater car in the meantime, it will save the headache of trying to make a 2V work.

Makes no sense. Just get another block and build it so you have a replacement ready and can do a quick swap.

I put 4v in my CV, it can be done in reverse very easily...

the MM computer will run it fine, if you drop in the complete 2v engine w/ harness thats it... 2 wires have to be swapped and go.

let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks John, thats all I wanted to know, it's not the block I want to do this time, it's the heads, and intake, so a spare block won't work. I've got a spare car, 96 CV, with 81,xxx miles, I want to do what I said, not buy a POS TO DRIVE.

Yeah that's putting a 4v in a 2v car. Not putting a 2v in a 4v car.

I can't imagine a 4V program working well in a 2V engine. The re-tune, unless you have a 2V program to download, would make the swap impractical, for your purpose.
