Well, I've had my driveshaft sitting here for about two months. Yesterday I finally got around to throwing it on. I can tell the difference already. Much smoother. Noone else could tell in the car, but I'm anal and notice EVERYTHING.
I also decided to install all my new lights. I went with the 9007 SilverStar headlights, H1 SilverStar fogs, and 3157 SilverStar turn signals. Thay look fantastic. The turn signals look silver, blue, purple, and orange when they are off (changes with light conditions). When they are turned on, they look just like the orang factory lights.
Now I need to find a part number so I can replace the cornering lamps. They still look yellow-ish compared to the headlights and fogs.
I'm headed down to SLP right now to buy a new set of mufflers for my exhuast system. I'm really not satisfied with the Dynomax UltraFlo Welded mufflers. I think that they'd sound good if I wasn't running the cats. Oh well.... I'm swapping them out. I'm going to purchase two 2.5" SLP Shotgun Resonators. These are the same tiny little mufflers (more like expanded pipes) that provide the SLP Camaro SS's and Firehawks with their awesome growl. I was down there two weeks ago and heard a SOHC Mustang with their mufflers. It was amazing. I'll report back when I get them.

I went down to SLP and bought two Shotgun Resonators (2.5" in & out, 14" long, 4" round case). They discontinued these mufflers as individual units. I bought 2 of the last 3 mufflers they had left. Good timing on my part!!
They're getting installed first thing in the morning. I can't wait!!
Also, check the "Parts for Sale" section for my Dynomax UltraFlo's.

I got the 3157 SilerStar T/signal bulbs a couple months ago. My nephew turned me on to them. Got them at Checker Auto Parts too. They ARE cool. They reflect a primsmatic effect in sunlight, but glow amber when lighted. It really looks cool when you see it coming up behind you in direct sunlight. It makes the t/signal bulb blend into the clear corner lense...Another "mandatory" mod....

I ordered all my bulbs direct from Sylvania off of their website. Just register with them as an online customer and you can buy any of their items through their own online-store. None of the auto parts stores around me carry these bulbs yet.
I'll have to see what I can do about the Hooters meet. I really don't see being able to get off of work. We'll see, though.

Constable-have you heard of 55watt halogen back-up lights that most speed shops sell ? . Two lights come in the box so I purchased two boxes-1-set for the back up , and the other set for the side cornering sides . They work great and their are very bright .

Sounds great... but are the cornering lights still giving off that yellowish tint that they give off stock?? I'm not neccessarily looking for a brighter bulb, just one that matches the coloring of my SilverStars.
OBTW... got my SLP mufflers on this morning. AWESOME!! I'll start a new thread on that.

Constable, did you ever solve the cornering lamp issue? If so, could you post a part number? Thanks!
