I have new info on price on 04 MM. You can haggle a dealer down to $27,465 and $26,400 on a 03. These prices are on brand new cars.

Now, if only someone would buy my 02 Mustang GT vert!!??!!!??!!

It probably depends on what part of the country you are in. I paid $30,000.00 even + sales tax for my 2004 in Vegas. The only Marauder they have sitting on the lot here is a 2004 DTR. They sell all the black ones.

The prices I mentioned do not include tax or tag. It does not matter what part of the country your from the price will not vary. You can get the price I mentioned but you have to haggle hard.

Just got mine for a slightly lower price, on order. Included factory cash to customer and AARP discount, just over 28K out the door.

Hey all! I got my 04 DTR(with the heated seats, 6 disc changer and goofy trunk organizer) on 10/23/03. I used my Dad's retiree Z plan. Sticker $35,385.00. Z plan price $31,261.00 minus an additional $5,500 in total rebates=purchase price of $25,761.00. I have been drooling on this car since the black show car with the mis matched paint was making the rounds at the auto shows and this was just too good a deal to pass up! I traded a 98 Lincoln Navigator in for $16,000.00(nice vehicle, I "liked" it but never "loved" it-I know 95% of you folks will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I am totally in "love" with this Merc. I have not missed the Navigator once! Mike(aka RedMM)

Am looking at trading my '03 for a DTR '04. Long story but the wife is now driving the 03 and she likes RED cars and I want to keep my 350hp SuperCharged '96 Tbird. Problem is not one of the Four Lincoln Dealers in the area has a DTR. In fact, all have told me the MM does not come in RED. I've given each sales Manager a good tongue lashing about not knowing a "ratsarse" about the MM. Closest DTR is some 300 miles away. I'm in no hurry and may just order one.

^^^there's one sitting on the lot at Pugmire Lincoln Mercury in Marietta, GA. Have your dealer locate one and ship it in...their cost.

Got to thinking after this post and located two DRT MMs in Mother-in-Laws home town. I'll be in there next week for vacation. Talked to sales manager just now. One just hit the lot today. Gave him trade-in and payoff info. He's going to call back tomorrow with details. It was about 2 minutes to closing when I contacted him.
Problem with dealer trade is that the car will have 300+ miles when it gets to Memphis then I'll put another 350 going to Mother-in-Laws. This way I'll have 700 less miles and the selling dealer will not have to pay the transferring dealer the holdback. This will leave more room for selling dealer to negotiate.

Wow, prices must really change depending on the region, because I haggled with many dealers and was not able to get anywhere near those prices when I ordered my Silver 04. I even pitted the dealerships with each other, but 04 MM's appear to be in good demand here.

Hey all! If you are not familiar with Ford friend and family purchase programs pm me and I will give you the details on A, X, and Z plan purchasing-you can save a ton if you have a friend or family member who works for or is retired from Ford. It would be my honor to help anyone however I can. So many kind folks on this site have welcome me and answered questions-if I can help you I'd be truly happy to. Mike(akaRedMM)
